GEEEEP Chairman, Hon. Dr. Mrs. Judith Mayen Ogbara, engages the Akwa Ibom Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development on advancing opportunities for women and girls.
The Chairman of GEEEEP, Hon. Dr. Mrs. Judith Mayen Ogbara, led a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Akwa Ibom State Government, Hon. Mrs. Inibehe Silas Etukudo.
The meeting provided an opportunity for Dr. Ogbara to share insights into the vision, mission, and framework of GEEEEP, highlighting how the programme is designed to positively impact young women, girls, and communities across Akwa Ibom State.
During the discussion, Dr. Ogbara emphasized the alignment of GEEEEP’s objectives with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly through the RISE initiative, Renewed Hope for Inclusion, Support, and Empowerment.
She explained how the initiative seeks to create sustainable opportunities, promote inclusivity, and empower women and girls to reach their full potential.
The Honourable Commissioner warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed her support for collaborative efforts that will advance the cause of women and social development in Akwa Ibom State.
The engagement further reinforces GEEEEP’s commitment to building strategic partnerships and creating meaningful opportunities that empower women and girls across Nigeria.
